Mania

Mania

Mania is a state where mood becomes abnormally elevated, energy surges, and judgment becomes impaired.

Details

Mania is a condition where mood becomes abnormally elevated or irritable and persists for at least one week.

Decreased need for sleep, inflated self-esteem, increased talkativeness, racing thoughts, and impulsive behaviors (overspending, reckless decisions) are common signs.

Mania is different from simply feeling good. Judgment can become seriously impaired, which is why proper treatment is very important. If you're concerned, Mindy is here to help you think it through.

💡 Real-Life Example

"Not feeling tired even without sleep, confidence through the roof, and acting on impulse without thinking things through."
