Brain Lateralization

Brain Lateralization

The idea that the left and right sides of the brain tend to specialize in different functions.

Details

Brain lateralization refers to the way the two hemispheres of the brain are somewhat specialized for different tasks. But this does not mean one side works alone; most real-life thinking depends on both sides working together.

💡 Real-Life Example

Language is often more strongly linked with the left hemisphere, while some aspects of spatial processing are more linked with the right.
