Play Therapy
Play Therapy
A therapeutic approach that understands and heals a child's inner world through play. Play is a child's language.
Details
Play therapy is a treatment approach that uses play — the natural way children express themselves — as a therapeutic tool.
Children often find it difficult to fully express their emotions through words. Through play, they express and process inner conflicts, anxiety, and trauma.
Toys, dolls, and art materials are used, and the therapist understands the meaning within the play to help the child heal.
