Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD) is characterized by an excessive preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism, and control.
Although the name sounds similar to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), they are different conditions. People with OCPD tend to see their patterns as "right" and justified, whereas those with OCD find their intrusive thoughts distressing.
