closure

Closure

The process of emotionally coming to terms with an ending so you can move forward.

Details

Closure is the emotional process of finding some inner resolution after a breakup, loss, betrayal, or unfinished situation. It does not always mean getting every answer or having a perfect final conversation. Often, it means accepting that something ended, making space for the feelings that remain, and slowly loosening its grip on your daily life.

💡 Real-Life Example

After a breakup, someone writes a letter they never send and finds that their mind starts returning to the present instead of the past.
